I've been following Roger Ashley's case, and there's something that bothers me about the investigation hurdles. It's deeply upsetting to think about how Detective Lundy's lack of credentials could have impacted the progress. If investigators can't do their jobs properly, how are families supposed to find peace? Roger's death was senseless, and it's heartbreaking to think his family has been waiting for justice all this time. I'm worried that these kinds of institutional oversights could leave more families like Roger's without answers. Given everything the family has gone through, they deserve a transparent and competent investigation—Roger deserves that. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on Lundy or if a new detective has taken over the case? I really hope this can finally start moving forward.
I've been following the case of Roger Ashley, and something that really stands out to me is the atmosphere in the community that night. I've read that Roger and his brother were just grabbing something to eat after what was presumably a lovely visit with their family, something all of us do. It makes you think about those everyday activities that we take for granted and how they can suddenly change lives forever.
What’s frustrating and puzzling is how these seemingly clear leads, like the suspect on surveillance footage and the social media hints, haven’t yet led to a resolution. It makes you wonder about the challenges and gaps in our justice system. I can’t even imagine the heartache felt by Roger’s family, especially his brother, who had to witness such a traumatic event and is still left waiting for answers.
For those who know more, are there any updates or community efforts underway to keep Roger’s case alive and push for action? It's devastating to think about how many cases like this are out there with families longing for closure. Sending all my support and thoughts to Roger's loved ones.
