Has anyone else been following the court proceedings for Duane Griffin Jr.? I've been keeping up with the updates, and it's just all so surreal. It's hard to grasp how the futures of two young men have changed forever because of this tragedy. As someone who grew up in Akron, it's chilling to realize how quickly something so violent can happen so close to home. I've read how Jordan Hopson was beloved by those around him for being so full of life and happiness. His story does a number on you – it makes you want to reach out to friends and family and remind them how loved they are. I'm still hoping that the trial will bring Jordan's family the justice they seek, although I know it can never truly heal the pain they feel. If anyone has been to any of the local memorials or has insights on how to support the community further, I'd love to hear from you. Stay safe, everyone.
