I’ve been following Kevin Lee Price’s case and keep thinking about the impact his passing has had on his friends and community. Kevin seemed like such a bright young soul with his love for rapping, gaming, and sports. He had so much potential. It must be incredibly difficult for those who knew him to continue without his lively spirit around. Knowing that this tragedy unfolded at an event meant for celebration makes it even more distressing. Birthday parties should be a time of joy and togetherness, not a backdrop for violence and loss. I'm hoping the community can find ways to support one another in preventing such incidents from happening again. It’s clear that everyone who knew Kevin will carry a part of him with them, and I hope that becomes a source of strength during this devastating time.
