I keep thinking about Nicholas and the incredible work he was doing with the Maple Tree Cancer Alliance. It's so devastating that someone's life, who had just been offered a full-time position to help cancer patients, was cut short in such a senseless act. From what I've read, Nicholas had already logged over 100 hours of community service and was pursuing a master's in cancer care. Imagine the impact he could have had on so many lives with his passion and commitment. It just makes me wonder about the countless contributions he and the other victims could have made to the world. Such tragic loss. I truly hope we find some way to prevent these tragedies in the future. My heart goes out to Nicholas's family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. His memory and dedication will continue to inspire change, even if he's no longer with us.

I’ve been thinking about Nicholas P. Cumer and the incredible kindness he showed during his time with the Maple Tree Cancer Alliance. Even though I didn’t know him personally, the stories shared by those who did make it so clear that he was an exceptional person. Volunteering over 100 hours and still pursuing a master's degree speaks volumes about his dedication. It’s truly tragic that a person devoted to making life better for others was taken so senselessly. Does anyone else feel that preserving his legacy might also mean advocating for changes to prevent this from happening again? It’s unbearable to imagine losing more bright souls like his to such violence. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they navigate these difficult times.
