I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of the legal system in cases like Noelle Massuros’s. What’s particularly troubling to me is the history of domestic incidents at Jason Massuros's home. With 60 calls to their address since 2009, I’m left wondering how such a pattern went unchecked for so long. Were there warning signs that were overlooked by authorities or neighbors? It makes me think about how communities can be more proactive in recognizing and addressing these dangerous situations before they lead to tragedies. My heart goes out to Noelle’s family — I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through. But I hope that by discussing these issues, we can prevent similar situations in the future. Thoughts?
