I’ve been following Darrick’s case since it happened, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the role of family dynamics in the tragic events. Mariah’s cousin, Dustin, being involved raises so many questions about how familial relationships can take such dark turns. I can’t even begin to imagine what Mariah must be going through, trying to process everything. It’s hard to think that someone who’s supposed to protect and care for you could be involved in such a horrific act. My heart goes out to her and Darrick's family.
