I've been following the case of Jose Gonzalez-Cortez, and one thing I can't stop thinking about is the route he might have taken when he left home on foot back in February 2004. It's puzzling because Long Beach isn't exactly a small area—you'd think someone would have seen something or remembered him. Did he frequent a specific area or have a regular route? Even with flyers and his information in databases, the mystery remains. It's like he vanished into thin air. If anyone local has insights on common paths or routines someone in his situation might have taken back then, it might shed some light or jog someone's memory. Here's hoping someone comes forward with something solid soon.
Has anyone taken a look at the possibility of Jose Gonzalez-Cortez starting over somewhere else, like a new identity situation? I know it’s a stretch, but people have done it before. It’s so strange that there aren’t any leads or sightings after all these years. I wonder if there were any financial transactions in the days leading up to or after February 10, 2004, that could shed light on his movements. Even if it’s just a rumor or old info, it might be worth digging into any places he might have had a connection to, possibly outside of Long Beach. It’d be interesting to hear thoughts on whether the investigators have considered this angle!
Hey everyone, I stumbled across the case of Jose Gonzalez-Cortez recently while browsing through missing person databases and was surprised to see how little information there is about what happened to him. One thing that struck me was the lack of media coverage over the years. It’s odd since Long Beach is a large city, and you'd think his disappearance would've gotten more attention. I read that he left on foot; does anyone know if there were any cameras around his neighborhood back in 2004? Seems like any footage from that time could be vital, even if it's outdated now. Just throwing it out there—maybe someone local remembers something from that day? The family's been waiting for answers for so long, and any new leads could be pivotal. Let's keep our eyes open and thoughts coming.
