Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Devon Johnston and have been curious about the community candlelight vigil that was held in his memory. From what I’ve heard, 49 candles were lit to honor him, and that feels like such a powerful tribute to me. It got me wondering about the significance of the number of candles and the impact these memorials can have on both the family and community. I wasn't able to attend, but does anyone know more about these gatherings? For families and friends, it seems like such an important way to feel supported, while also keeping the memory of their loved one alive in a positive way. I imagine seeing so many come together to pay respects can provide a bit of comfort, even if just for a moment. My heart goes out to all who knew Devon. It's crucial that we keep talking about his story and searching for the truth behind what happened. Until justice is served, we can continue to support his loved ones and keep his memory alive. Would love to hear more thoughts or experiences on how these memorials impact the grieving process.
