I’ve been following the case of Jesus Paolomino-Ponce and something that caught my attention is the area he was last seen in. Sonoita, Mexico, is quite a remote place, and the terrain around there can be pretty challenging. For anyone who’s familiar with that region, are there known routes people typically use to cross into Arizona from there? Also, would anyone have insights into what resources, if any, are available to missing persons' families in cases like these? I’ve been digging around, but it seems like such a complex situation given border issues and potential jurisdiction challenges. Just hoping for any kind of lead that could help.
Hey everyone, I just came across the case of Jesus Paolomino-Ponce, who vanished back in June 2005, and I'm curious if anyone has more info on the weather patterns around Sonoita, Mexico during that time. Given that it's so close to the border, the terrain and climate likely play a huge role in what might have happened to someone traveling through the area. June can get pretty hot, and I wonder if extreme weather could have posed additional risks. Does anyone have insights on weather-related challenges for undocumented crossings around that time?
