I’ve been thinking a lot about the kids Charles and Tarissa left behind. It’s hard to imagine what kind of pain they’re going through right now. Losing both parents is unimaginable, especially in such a violent and senseless way. I really hope they have a strong support system around them to help navigate this loss. If anyone knows of any community efforts or support groups that are rallying around the family, it’d be good to share them. Perhaps knowing that people care and want to help could bring at least a bit of comfort during such a difficult time.
