It’s incredibly tough to wrap my head around how something so horrific could happen, especially to someone as cherished as Robin. I keep thinking about the impact it must have had on her coworkers at the hospital where she worked. As a nurse, she was probably a beacon of strength and compassion for so many patients and colleagues alike. I can’t imagine how they’re managing to come to terms with losing not just a colleague but a dear friend under such devastating circumstances. Her dedication to helping others must have touched countless lives, and knowing that she’s no longer there to provide comfort and care in times of need just amplifies the tragedy of it all. For those who worked alongside her, losing someone in your work family in such an unimaginable way must be beyond challenging. My thoughts are forever with them, and I hope they’re finding solace in each other during this senseless time.

Has anyone else been thinking about the role pressures might play in situations like the tragic loss of the Nelson family? I can't stop wondering if John might have been silently battling something that none of us knew about. It's chilling to think about how someone so seemingly dedicated to his family could get to such a dark place. This definitely emphasizes the significance of mental health checks and having open dialogues in our community. I really feel for Robin and the kids; they were vibrant parts of Elyria, and it's just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that we'll never see their smiles again. This has underscored for me how crucial it is for people to reach out and seek help. Sometimes behind closed doors, folks are dealing with things we might not ever imagine. ?
