I'm really touched by the way the Lorain community has come together to support Denzyl Williams' family and push for change after such a devastating loss. It’s so hard to think about a vibrant young kid with a full life ahead being taken away like that. I noticed how community leaders and residents organized vigils and heartfelt discussions around youth violence after the tragedy. It's so important for these conversations to continue if we're going to see real change. I wonder if other communities have implemented programs that have successfully reduced youth violence and if Lorain might look into adopting similar strategies. Anyone have thoughts or examples where this has worked elsewhere? Sending love and strength to everyone touched by this tragedy.
