I’ve been following Tyler Jackson’s tragic case closely, and I can’t help but keep thinking about the other young victim, 10-year-old Vashawn Carrington. This child survived the shooting, but I can’t imagine how terrifying and confusing this must be for him, especially at such a young age. It’s beyond upsetting that a child has to endure such trauma. Let’s keep Vashawn in our thoughts as we continue to seek justice for Tyler. Both families are enduring unimaginable pain, and it breaks my heart thinking about the lasting impact this has on a young kid. This senseless violence has to stop, and it makes me wonder about the kind of support systems in place for children who survive such ordeals. Does anyone know if there's been any talk in the community about providing psychological support or counseling for Vashawn and others affected? We need to stand together to make sure no more kids fall victim to the violence plaguing our streets. Stay safe, everyone.
