Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case involving Michael Cory Davis, and something keeps sticking out to me. It’s just so troubling to think about how a simple argument at a backyard gathering escalated to such a drastic and tragic outcome. It makes me wonder about the dynamics of these events—what leads people to think that reaching for a weapon is the only answer? I can’t stop thinking about the people who were there and how utterly terrifying it must have been for everyone involved. For Michael’s family and friends, this must be such an unimaginable time. The impact of losing someone who brought so much joy and laughter is just indescribable.
