In the cold of late November 2017, the life of 25-year-old Darryl Burks Jr., an African-American man also known to some as Darryl Alexander, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of November 30th, firefighters responded to a blaze that had engulfed a rowhouse in the 3000 block of Rayner Avenue.
