Has anyone else been following the case of Lionel Adams and Candace Carr on South Wheatland Avenue? It's just so unsettling to think about what went down that day. I can’t even imagine the pain that Lionel's and Candace’s families are still going through, especially knowing that there hasn’t been full justice yet. I came across an old news piece mentioning that Andrea Montgomery was found not guilty, which was pretty shocking given the charges she faced. I can't wrap my head around how the jury reached that decision, considering the gravity of the case.
I keep thinking about the surviving third victim too—what a harrowing experience, barely making it out alive and having to live with those memories. The strength it must have taken to get help is truly remarkable. It feels like there’s still so much to uncover about that night, especially now that the investigation is still open. It makes me wonder if they’re any closer to catching the shooter.
If anyone in the area has any thoughts or has heard anything more recent, I’d love to hear it. We owe it to the victims to keep talking about this until the full truth is revealed.
Did anyone else find it shocking that Andrea Montgomery was acquitted of all charges? I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on Lionel and Candace's families. It's such a devastating blow when you're hoping for some form of closure. I know the legal system works on the premise of "beyond a reasonable doubt," but with everything that was presented, it feels like there’s still such a gaping wound left open. It’s so important that we keep talking about this case, sharing any information we might have, and supporting the loved ones who are in desperate need of answers. The community deserves justice for what happened on South Wheatland Avenue.
I just came across something that really struck a chord with me concerning the tragic deaths of Lionel Adams and Candace Carr. I can't imagine the pain their families must be going through, especially with this case still unresolved. What caught my attention was how Andrea Montgomery was acquitted despite being charged with such serious offenses and present during the shootings. It feels like there’s a gap in the justice process here.
I've been following cases like this for a while, and sometimes it makes me wonder how often key players in crimes are acquitted when seemingly there's a lot at stake. It's a relief that the investigation is ongoing, but it's hard not to feel anxious about the length of these processes. Both Lionel and Candace deserve justice, and, more importantly, their loved ones deserve answers. I really hope more people come forward with information—it could make all the difference in bringing the shooter to justice. If anyone here knows more about the case or has insights, I would appreciate any updates or perspectives you could share.
