I've been following Chase Meola's case, and something that's been on my mind is how Phi Kappa Psi continued with parties despite their suspension. It’s such a gut-wrenching thought that an environment supposed to be about brotherhood and safety ended up being so opposite. This should be a wake-up call for all fraternities to take their responsibilities seriously. How can we make sure something like this doesn't happen again? I can't imagine what Chase's family is going through, and it makes their efforts to hold those accountable all the more important. It’s a constant reminder of the urgent need for safer surroundings on college campuses. Thoughts?

I can't stop thinking about the night everything changed for Chase Meola and his loved ones. It's numbing to imagine the chaos and fear in those final moments outside the fraternity house. I've read into the case, and something that keeps bothering me is how a party like that was even happening despite the fraternity's suspension. How did the system fail so much that it allowed such a dangerous situation to escalate? Chase clearly had a bright future, given the posthumous degree awarded by Ohio State. It feels like such an unnecessary loss of potential and talent. While the wrongful death lawsuit was dismissed, it raises important questions about accountability and safety. Seeing the OSU community rally for increased safety measures shows how deeply his loss was felt. His family and friends deserve answers and some form of reassurance that steps are being taken to prevent such a tragedy from happening again. It's vital we keep discussing these issues to honor Chase's memory and push for a safer environment for everyone on campus.
