I’ve been following the discussions about Christopher Haycook’s tragic case, and something that’s been on my mind is the time and location where everything happened. It was so close to the new year, a time most people spend celebrating with loved ones, not experiencing such a tragic event. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family was dealing with during what should have been a hopeful time. The area around Hanford and Gilbert doesn’t seem particularly notorious for such events, so I’m curious if there were specific circumstances that led to this happening there. Was it just random, or is there more going on in the neighborhood? I really hope the investigators get the break they need soon, both for Chris’s family and for the community. His wife and kids must be going through so much. If anyone out there knows something, no matter how small it seems, it could really make a difference for them. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and hope for justice.
