It's difficult to process the immense loss the Gaines family has endured, and my thoughts are with them during what must be an incredibly challenging time. I was reading up about the case and can't stop thinking about the role of the Sunoco station as the location. It's a bit puzzling to me. Why there, of all places? Was it purely random, or did David have a reason for being there at such an odd hour? I wonder if there’s any surveillance footage from the station that might provide more clues or context about the moments leading up to the shooting. I hope the detectives have access to every possible resource, and I sincerely hope that the recent indictment will finally start piecing things together.
