I've been following the case of Donnell Steele, and I can't stop thinking about the young boy, Mikeem Thomas, who got caught up in this whole mess. It's tragic to see someone so young involved in such violent acts, and it makes me wonder about what kind of circumstances led him down this path. What can be done to help kids in our communities avoid getting involved with dangerous people like Godfrey and his crew? My heart goes out to Steele's family, who have lost such a cherished individual due to the actions of others. It's clear they need all the support they can get, but I also hope there's a way to prevent these situations from happening again by reaching out to and supporting at-risk kids before it's too late.
