Did anyone else hear about the protests that Eric's mom, Aleesha Bell, organized in front of the Youngstown PD? I find it so admirable that she's been so vocal and strong throughout this whole ordeal. It's like she's trying to get justice not just for her son but for all the other families affected by violence in Youngstown. It must be incredibly frustrating for her to feel like the investigation hasn't progressed after all this time. I really hope that with her persistence, more attention can be brought to the case, and those responsible can be held accountable. Also, it's interesting to hear that the police suspect Eric's killer might not be around anymore. Has anyone seen any similar cases where this has happened? Thinking of Eric's family and wishing them peace.

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Eric's lyrics mentioning individuals who might have retaliated long after being named in his songs? I feel terrible for Eric's family, especially since his mother mentioned the conflicts tied to his music. It makes me wonder if someone who had been simmering over the lyrics for years might have eventually acted out. I know the police believe the suspected killer is dead, but it's tragic to think there might still be someone out there who held a grudge against Eric. His mother, Aleesha, must be heartened somewhat by the thought of closure, but it's tough knowing that justice still feels elusive. Any updates from locals on whether the police are continuing to look into these past conflicts?
