I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the students at Bedford High School. It's unimaginable what they're going through having lost a classmate in such a violent way, and knowing the suspect was one of their own peers adds another layer of complexity to their grief. The school has been offering support services, but I'm curious how effective these have been. Has anyone heard from any students or parents about what kind of support is being provided and how the students are coping? Such trauma can't be easy to handle, especially for young people who are still trying to understand the world around them. My heart goes out to everyone involved, especially Royce Hamilton's family. They’re all going to need ongoing support to work through this.
