I've been trying to wrap my head around the way the police were involved in the moments leading up to Carl Carroll's tragic death. It's hard not to think about how harrowing it must have been for the officers to discover Carl in such a critical condition and then to know that he didn't make it despite their presence. It must have been such a tense and helpless moment for them and for anyone else who witnessed those final moments. My heart goes out to Carl's family and friends—I can't imagine the pain and confusion they're going through. The fact that the exact location of the shooting is still unclear just adds to the mystery and frustration. It emphasizes how much work still needs to go into solving this case. I really hope someone with more information will step up to provide clarity for Carl's loved ones and help bring justice to Isaiah Powers' trial. If anyone is in the Columbus area, please spread the word that the community's support is needed to push this investigation forward.
