Has anyone else been following the Donovan Clark case in Cincinnati? I've been thinking a lot about the community's response since it happened. It's always so tough when something like this happens right in our own backyard. I heard there were some candlelight vigils organized by local residents near Grant Park shortly after Donovan was killed. It sounds like the neighborhood really came together to remember him and show support for his family during such a difficult time. It just breaks my heart to think about what they're going through. I hope the authorities find the person responsible, not just for justice, but to provide some peace to everyone impacted by this senseless act. If anyone has attended those vigils or has any updates on similar events, please share. It's important for us to keep Donovan’s memory alive and support each other.
Hey everyone, I was reading up on Donovan Clark's case, and it's just so unsettling knowing that this happened so close to where people are trying to rebuild a sense of community in Over-the-Rhine. I'm curious if anyone here knows more about what local efforts have popped up in response to his murder? I heard there have been some neighborhood meetings focused on improving safety, but it's just heavy on my mind how these initiatives often seem to start after something tragic like this happens. It's a shame that it takes such loss to push for change.
I really hope these conversations lead to tangible improvements. Clark should still be here, enjoying life with those he loved. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who must be going through an incredibly difficult time. If anyone has updates on what actions are being taken locally or how to support those affected, please share.
