I was going through some old newspapers and stumbled across an article from the time Chleise Drew went missing in 2010. It's interesting how little media coverage there seemed to be on her case back then, as if it just disappeared from public conversation shortly after the initial reporting. I wonder if this lack of ongoing attention affected the investigation – it's frustrating to think she might have been forgotten amidst other cases.
Has anyone else noticed patterns like this in older cases, where media coverage dwindles quickly? How do we ensure these missing persons' stories stay in the public eye so they aren't left unsolved for so long? Keeping awareness raised might just be the key to new tips coming in. Would appreciate any thoughts or similar stories from others who follow such cases!
