Has anyone else been following the story of Victor Castorrena? I've been thinking a lot about that night and the fact that it happened during a community effort to honor the spirit of Juneteenth. It’s just so disheartening to see violence shattering such a significant moment. What really stands out to me is how the community leaders had organized the ceasefire in hopes of fostering peace and unity. It must have been devastating for them, as well as for Victor's loved ones, to have those efforts interrupted in such a tragic way.
I keep hoping someone who knows something comes forward, even if it's just a small detail. It could be what the police need to finally bring some answers to Victor's family. They deserve to know what happened and why he was taken from them. If anyone here has heard anything or has thoughts on how we can help spread the word, it'd be great to discuss. Every bit of attention helps in these unsolved cases.
Has anyone else been looking into the surveillance footage from that area on the night Victor Castorrena was shot? It's been on my mind since the police mentioned the lack of suspects. The gas station surely has cameras, right? And maybe the nearby businesses too? I feel like there could be more info hidden in those recordings. It’s frustrating knowing that Victor’s family and friends are still waiting for answers. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling not having closure. If anyone has any insights on this or hears of any updates, please share. It would be great if the community could come together to help out in any way possible.
I’ve been following Victor Castorrena’s case closely, and I can’t help but feel deeply for his family and friends as they continue to search for answers. What rattles me is the timing of it all—right towards the end of a ceasefire meant to honor and uplift the community. It’s disheartening that an initiative for peace was marred by such a senseless act of violence.
There hasn’t been much progress reported by the authorities, but I really hope that anyone with even the smallest bit of information isn’t hesitant to reach out to the police. Sometimes it’s the tiniest detail that can make a big difference in solving these cases. Sending strength to everyone affected. Let’s keep Victor’s memory alive by pushing for the justice he deserves. How can we help spread the word and keep the momentum going on seeking justice for him?
