I've been following Avante Beatty's case for a while now, and something that's been really weighing on my heart is how young everyone involved is. It’s beyond tragic that kids as young as 15 and 16 are getting mixed up in such serious crimes. I can't help but think about the lost potential and what might have been for all these young lives if they'd been given the support and guidance they needed. Avante's family must be going through so much, and it’s awful to imagine the pain they must feel. I hope this case sheds light on the importance of helping our youth find better paths and breaking this cycle of violence. Anyone else have thoughts on what communities might realistically do to curb this issue?
