I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy has on Kamell's younger siblings, if he had any. Growing up without their brother must be unimaginable, and I'm sure their lives have been forever altered. It's such a cruel loss for them, and I can't help but feel for their parents, Celeste and Gerrod, who have to navigate these challenging emotions while supporting the rest of their family. I hope they have a strong support system around them to provide comfort and help through this incredibly difficult time. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone involved, especially those innocent young ones who have lost their big brother too soon.

I’m deeply saddened by what happened to Kamell Golden and the senseless nature of it all. It breaks my heart to think of someone so young being taken from his family and friends. I read recently about how schools often set up support systems in these situations, like grief counselors. I just hope that the students and staff at Springfield High School are finding the help they need. It's unimaginable for young kids to face such trauma. I'm also troubled by the fact that something like this happened over a marijuana sale. It makes me think about how young people might get caught up in situations they don't fully grasp the dangers of. Maybe this tragedy can spark a deeper conversation about how to protect and educate our youth, so they don't fall victim to violence or end up on the other side of it. I hope justice is served, but more importantly, I hope Kamell is remembered for the joy he brought to those who knew him. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
