This is such a challenging aspect for everyone involved because it reminds us how tangled and difficult these cases are when there's a backdrop of alleged abuse. I’m genuinely curious about how courts weigh these factors and the dynamics of the victims in the days leading up to these tragic moments. It’s all just incredibly sad for both families, but especially for Eric's loved ones. I hope that more awareness about these complexities results in better support systems for those in toxic relationships to hopefully prevent things from escalating to such a devastating level in the future.
