Has anyone else been thinking about the heartbreaking position Ashley's children were put in? It's just so devastating to imagine them being there during such a horrific event. I can't begin to fathom the trauma they must be experiencing. They lost their mother in the most unimaginable way, and even though Robert Sherman has been sentenced, I find myself wondering what kind of support system is in place for those kids. Are they staying with relatives who can provide them with a loving and stable environment? I hope they have access to counseling and the emotional support they need to process this tragedy. It's so important that they feel safe and protected as they grow up without their mom. My heart goes out to their family, but especially those two little ones who were caught in the middle of this nightmare.
