There's been a lot of discussion about Jacere's tragic case, and as a parent, I keep thinking about the authorities urging people to come forward with information. It's so vital for anyone who might know something—no matter how small or insignificant it might seem—to step up. Jacere was just a kid with dreams and potential, his life unjustly cut short. The community mourning him is filled with people who shared their lives and dreams with him, and it's hard to imagine being in their shoes, waiting for answers. If there's even a chance you can help or know someone who might, it's important for the sake of his family and the justice he deserves. My heart goes out to them; no family should have to endure this kind of loss. Let's hope those with the power to help bring answers to the surface find the courage to do so.
