Something that's been puzzling me about Wesley Nebeker's disappearance is the location where his vehicle was found—Mohave County, Arizona. That's almost 800 miles from his home in Lander, Wyoming! I wonder why he would have driven so far, or if someone else drove the car there. It seems like quite a distance to cover, and it makes me think there may have been a specific reason for him or someone else to be in that area. Does anyone have thoughts on why this particular location? I'm curious if he had any connections there or if it's known for something that might relate to his case. Also, was there anything significant in the car that might give clues as to why it was abandoned? Would love to hear any opinions or theories!
Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around Mohave County when Wesley Nebeker’s car was found? I’ve been thinking about how an environment can affect a missing persons case. Late December in Arizona could be tricky weather-wise. I know deserts can get super cold at night during the winter months. Maybe he got disoriented or stranded, and the cold became a factor? Just throwing ideas out there—I'm curious if it could have influenced his ability to survive if he was indeed on foot. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has seen reports on weather conditions around that time.
