I can't stop thinking about what kind of person Andrew Smith must be to not only commit such a crime but to go as far as burying James Bennett in his own basement. I can't imagine the devastation his family is feeling, knowing their loved one was treated this way. It really makes you wonder about Smith's past and what might have led him down such a dark path. I'm curious if there were any warning signs or past incidents that might have suggested he could be capable of something like this. My heart goes out to James's family; I hope they find the strength to navigate through the pain and that justice is served swiftly. Has anyone heard if there’s been any update on the court date for Smith?

I've been following the case of James Bennett and it's just so unsettling to think about what his family must be going through. I can't imagine learning your loved one's body was found under a basement floor. I'm curious about how the police received the tip that led them to discover his body. Was it from someone close to Andrew Smith, or a neighbor who noticed something suspicious? It's troubling to think that James's body was hidden like that while people were living above. It's terrifying how some people can commit such heinous acts. Hoping for some form of closure for Bennett's family soon.
