Hey everyone. Has anyone else been following the case of Donald Andrews from Fort Smith? It's puzzling to me that he was last seen by his sister on May 19, but she didn't report him missing until May 21 after she couldn't find him on May 20. I mean, I get that folks with dementia can wander off, but it's the timing that's got me scratching my head. Wonder if there might be any significance to those dates? Maybe someone caught him on camera or saw him nearby between those two days? It’s strange how someone can seem to just vanish from their own neighborhood. Would love to hear what others think or if anyone's got an idea about places he might’ve gone.

I’ve been really thinking about how dementia might affect Donald’s ability to recognize landmarks or remember how to get home. I've heard that familiar places can suddenly seem confusing to someone dealing with memory issues. Do you all think he could have wandered off to a place important from his past? Like maybe his childhood home or an old workplace? It’s just puzzling how he seemed to vanish without a trace especially with no signs of foul play. In these cases, would it be helpful for the police to check areas beyond just where he was last seen? It’s such a tricky situation because you never know what might trigger a memory or decision when someone's mind isn’t as reliable as it used to be. ?
