I can't stop thinking about the phone call Brandon had with his girlfriend right before he was shot. Imagine the horror and confusion she must have felt hearing "What's up?" and then the gunshots. It's such a chilling detail, and my heart truly goes out to her. It's moments like this that make you realize how quickly life can change. I just hope she and the rest of Brandon's family and friends find some comfort and peace now that justice has been served. It's also so concerning that someone you consider a long-time friend could turn on you like that. This case really made me reflect on the nature of trust and relationships.
