I've been following the case of Michael Dukes on and off, and I am constantly reminded of how overwhelming it must be for the families waiting for justice in Detroit. To think of how many unsolved murder cases there are in the city is truly staggering. I really hope the Cold Case Unit can make progress, not just for Michael’s family but for all those affected. It’s promising to see that they're using advanced forensic technology—something that wasn't as accessible even a decade ago. It gives a glimmer of hope that we might see some breakthroughs. I can’t even begin to understand what his family and friends are going through, but I hope they know that there are many out there rooting for them, hoping that justice is served. If you're in the area or know anything, please reach out to the authorities. Every little bit could help.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the case of Michael Dukes and how frustrating it must be for his family that his murder still remains unsolved after all these years. The Detroit PD has such a monumental task with so many cold cases, but I was wondering how much progress the Cold Case Unit might actually be making with newer forensic technology. Does anyone know if they've come up with new approaches recently that could help in cases like Michael's?
I really feel for the Dukes family. Not having answers or closure must be incredibly hard, and I can't imagine facing each day with those lingering questions. I'm hopeful that collaborations with state agencies could offer a fresh perspective or lead. Maybe someone knows more about how those collaborations work and can share any updates?
Every bit of discussion and awareness helps keep these cases alive. Let's hope the tide turns for Michael's case and all the others still waiting for justice.
Take care,

Hey everyone,
I've been following the Michael Dukes case and can't stop thinking about how many unsolved cases there are in Detroit. Michael's murder is just one of thousands that are cold, and it’s so frustrating knowing his family is left without answers. The number of unsolved murders since 1980 is staggering, and it makes you wonder how many families are waiting for closure. The Detroit Police are doing their best, especially with the Cold Case Unit using new forensic tech, but can we do more to support them? Maybe there's a way to raise awareness or push for more resources. It just feels like Michael and so many others shouldn’t be forgotten.
If anyone has thoughts on how communities can aid these investigations, please share. Keeping the conversation going might just help unlock something.
Stay safe,
