I’ve been thinking a lot about the ShotSpotter tech used during Antom Stargell's case. I wonder how effective it truly is in situations like this. From what I understand, it picked up at least six rounds, which is info we wouldn’t have had otherwise. But still, the police couldn’t find anyone at the scene when they arrived. Has anyone looked into the possible use of security camera footage in the area where Antom was shot? With the incident happening in broad daylight—around 2:45 p.m.—you'd think there's a chance nearby businesses or residences might have captured something useful. I know police often look into these things, but maybe some local folks don’t realize their footage might be critical.
