I’ve been following the Whitley case closely, and something that really stands out to me is the community’s response. It’s both heartwarming and poignant to see how everyone is rallying together to honor Major’s memory. I heard about the vigil they held on Walton Avenue, and it seems like so many people showed up to pay their respects—just goes to show how much he was loved and how deeply his loss is felt.
Major’s sister setting up a GoFundMe is such a brave step, trying to manage costs and give him a fitting farewell amidst such pain. I can’t imagine how tough this must be for the family. If anyone can, please consider donating or spreading the word. Also, the $5,000 reward from Crimestoppers could really make a difference—hopefully it encourages someone to come forward with crucial information.
I’m really hoping that justice is served soon, not just for Major’s family, but for the peace of the whole community. It’s scary to think that someone could do this and still be out there. If you know anything or heard anything, even the smallest detail could help the investigation. Let's keep the conversation going and share whatever we can to bring some closure to Major’s family and friends.
I’ve been following Major Whitley’s case and can’t stop thinking about how senseless this tragedy is. I came across a comment by his wife where she mentioned that those responsible need to turn themselves in, suggesting that they might be known to the family. It makes me wonder how often perpetrators walk among us, hiding in plain sight. It's chilling to think about.
It must be unbearable for Major’s family and friends to live with that knowledge and still wake up every day without answers. The fact that the community has come together with a GoFundMe and a vigil just goes to show how much Major was loved. If anyone knows anything — even the slightest detail — please come forward. He deserves justice, and his family deserves closure.
