Does anyone else find it extremely unsettling that this tragedy happened during what should have been a fun, social night out? Shamira Rhodes was simply trying to enjoy herself, and the next thing you know, her life was taken in such a violent way. It's infuriating that Amara Marie Battle managed to avoid security checks at the Queen of Hearts Pub. With everything we know now, I'm really wondering how this was even possible. Were there lapses in protocol, or are more stringent security measures just needed overall at these places? This whole situation seems like it could have been avoided, and it's devastating thinking about how this oversight cost Shamira her life and left her family with such immense grief. My heart goes out to Shamira's loved ones; losing someone in such an abrupt and senseless manner must be unbearable.
