Hi everyone, I wanted to talk about something that really touched me from Daeshawn Simington's case. I read that his mom, Michelle Collins, and his brother, Kenneth Jones, have been incredibly strong throughout this nightmare. I can’t even begin to comprehend the amount of pain they're going through, especially knowing how much Daeshawn meant to his two little girls. From everything I've seen and heard, it's clear Daeshawn had a big heart and was loved by many. It’s tragic that his daughters have to grow up without their dad, who was clearly a loving and courageous individual. I hope they get the support they need from the community, and let’s not forget their loss as this case unfolds. Just thinking about their future without him is so overwhelming. Keeping them in my thoughts, and sending strength their way. Would love to hear how you all are processing this case and supporting the family from afar. Stay strong, everybody.

I can't stop thinking about the brave actions of Daeshawn during that terrifying night. It's incredibly upsetting to imagine the fear and chaos inside that apartment. Knowing he managed to return fire in such a dire situation shows just how much he was willing to fight for his life and protect those around him. Simington's bravery, despite the immense odds against him, speaks volumes about his character. My heart goes out to his family, especially his young daughters who have to grow up without their father. I hope there's some comfort in knowing he fought so hard and that justice will be served for this senseless tragedy. They all remain in my thoughts as the trials progress and the search for justice continues.
