Hey everyone, I've been following the Kashvi Chawda case out of Edison, NJ, and something that's been on my mind is how these international abduction situations are handled, especially when there's little to no cooperation from the other country. It's been over a decade since she went missing, and the involvement of multiple jurisdictions seems like such a tough barrier to cross. Does anyone have insights on how often these kinds of cases get resolved, or what more can be done when one country doesn't have agreements to enforce custody rulings from the US? It feels like Kashvi and her family have been caught in such a complicated web, and despite the time that's gone by, it seems like there's still hope for some kind of breakthrough. Would love to hear thoughts or any similar cases you all might know about. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following Kashvi Chawda’s case ever since it came up in news reports about parental abductions. It's been so long, yet her case remains unsolved, which is really frustrating. What I find particularly intriguing is the role that international laws play in these types of abductions. It seems like once a child is taken beyond U.S. borders, the legal maze becomes even more complicated. Does anyone here have experience with cases involving international legal frameworks? How much cooperation can realistically be expected from authorities overseas, like in India? I wonder if there are any ongoing diplomatic efforts to locate Kashvi and Krish. Would love to hear thoughts or insights on how these international hurdles get navigated in missing persons cases.
