Hi everyone, I've been reading up on the Lawson family tragedy, and something that really stands out to me is the eerie detail of the family portrait taken just days before the massacre. It's so haunting to think that Charles might have had an inkling of what he was planning. They say a picture's worth a thousand words, but in this case, it feels like there’s a dark story hiding behind those smiles. I can’t help but wonder what was going through Fannie’s mind during that photo session. Did she have any idea about the storm that was about to hit her family? It’s such an unsettling thought. Arthur, being the only survivor, must have carried the weight of this day for his entire life. It's tragic in every sense. How do you all interpret this detail?
