Has anyone else looked into the strange behavior of Charles Lawson the day before the murders? I find it really unsettling how he took the whole family into town for shopping and a family portrait. I mean, during that time, this was not an everyday event for a rural working-class family. It's almost like he wanted to create this "perfect" family image right before everything shattered. I keep thinking about how excited little Carrie and her siblings must have been for this special outing, totally unaware of what would happen the next day. It’s so hard to comprehend how someone could have that in their mind while smiling for a photo with their family. I can’t imagine the pain and confusion felt by those left behind, especially Arthur, who must have so many questions about what happened and why his father spared him. Such a heavy burden to carry.
