I’ve been reading a lot about the tragic events that took place at the Outlaw Motorcycle Club's clubhouse back in 1979, and I can’t get the image out of my mind of William "Chains" Flamont walking into that horrendous scene. Discovering the lifeless bodies of his friends must have been unimaginably traumatic. I think it's important to think about how this affected not only the victims and their families but also those who were left to pick up the pieces afterward.
What adds another layer to this is how the news likely spread fast among the motorcycle clubs nationwide. The community of Outlaws united to support each other during such a dark time, proving just how tight-knit they were despite the horrible circumstances. It's moments like these where the humanity within subcultures like this shines through, where they’re not just seen as rough and tough bikers but as a family grieving together.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on the aftermath of this tragic event and how it might have affected the motorcycle club community across the country?
