Just thinking about the legacy Dickie Goodman left behind with his "break-in" technique. It’s fascinating how he managed to make such a unique mark in the music industry, even when faced with legal hurdles. It wasn’t all easy for him, with those copyright infringement lawsuits always looming, but he kept pushing forward. That's true resilience. “The Flying Saucer” in particular still stands out to me, not just for its humor but for how it cleverly intertwined pop culture with a dash of satire. It's impressive how he turned music into a storytelling medium. For those who knew and loved him, losing him must have been so difficult. But I hope they find some comfort in knowing how much he changed the landscape of music and brought joy to many. Anyone else have memories of his records playing on the radio?
