Has anyone else been following the memorial ceremonies for Detective Paul Andrew Hale? Every time I read about the tributes held by the Raleigh Police Department, I’m incredibly moved. It’s so touching to see his colleagues and community come together year after year to honor his bravery and remember his life. Knowing that he’d only just been promoted days before that tragic day adds such a profound sense of loss. It makes you think about the risks law enforcement officers take daily and how their families live with that uncertainty. I can't imagine what his wife and daughters have gone through over the years. It’s heartening to see that his legacy continues to live on and inspire others. If anyone here attended this year’s memorial, I’d love to hear more about how it was.
