Hey everyone, just wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind regarding David Moody’s case. I was looking over some old articles and noticed that the corner of Goldleaf Street and Carolina Avenue, where David was shot, is known for having been a pretty busy area at the time. It just makes me wonder if there might have been witnesses who were hesitant to come forward back then for whatever reason. It's sad to think that someone might have seen or heard something crucial and possibly dismissed it. Maybe they were scared, or maybe they thought what they knew wasn’t important enough to report. It could really help if those individuals, if they remember anything, would feel safe enough to share it with the authorities or even anonymously through initiatives like Team Cold Case. My heart goes out to David’s family and friends who’ve spent so many years seeking answers. I genuinely hope that with continued community involvement, someone might remember a detail that could finally shed light on what happened that tragic night. Anyone else have thoughts on how witnesses can be encouraged to share what they know?

Hey everyone, I've been diving into David Moody's case from back in 1998, and I can't stop thinking about how the crime scene was right at the corner of Goldleaf Street and Carolina Avenue. It's such a busy intersection, and it haunts me how someone could still be out there, free after committing such a horrible act. I wonder if there's anyone who lived nearby or maybe even just passed by that day who might have seen or heard something unusual. It was late summer, so maybe someone had windows open or was out on their porch. It's hard to believe there wasn't a single witness with valuable information. I read that Team Cold Case is involved now, and it gives me hope that they might get a breakthrough. Let's keep talking about this and sharing any memories or leads. Hopefully, justice finds its way to David and his loved ones. They deserve to know what happened and to see someone held accountable. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon the case of David Jerome Moody, and something that really caught my attention is how the community of Rocky Mount came together after his death. It's so touching to see locals rallying around the family to support them through such a devastating time. From what I've read, there were several vigils held, and some residents continue to keep David’s story alive in the hopes that someone will come forward with information. It just goes to show the power of community support in keeping the memory of victims alive and holding on to hope for justice. Has anyone here attended one of these events or know how the family is currently doing? Stay safe everyone.
