Has anyone else thought about the tragic miscommunication during the 911 calls in Deirdre Hinton Hines’ case? It's so devastating to think that the confusion over something as basic as an address might have cost her life. My heart goes out to her friends and family—nobody should have to face that kind of uncertainty when they are pleading for help. This really shows how critical it is for emergency services to have accurate information, but it also makes me think about what systems are in place to prevent this kind of delay. It just seems so preventable. Does anyone know if there have been any changes to the emergency response protocols in Raleigh since then? It seems like this should be a priority to protect people in the future.
