I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighbors who lived near Katherine and Kenny at the Cambridge Arms Apartments. It must have been extremely traumatic for them. I can't even imagine stumbling upon the scene or living so close to it all. Open windows from an apartment with no movement inside could have easily been brushed off as nothing, but thankfully someone cared enough to report it. That action led to the discovery and, ultimately, closure for Katherine’s family, despite how painful it was. It’s a sad reminder of how valuable it can be to look out for one another in our communities. Hearts go out to everyone affected, from those who heard the news to the family members who had to live through the reality.
