I’ve been following Deborah Scriven’s case, and the aspect that just haunts me is the situation with her son, Devin. I can’t imagine the pain and trauma he must carry after losing his mother and experiencing such a horrific event firsthand. To have survived such a brutal attack and then to have suffered even more loss afterward with his brother’s actions... it’s truly unimaginable. I hope Devin has found some support and strength through this. It’s such a cruel twist of fate, and my heart goes out to him and everyone who loved Deborah and Leona.
It’s frustrating that the case remains unsolved after all these years, especially knowing there was a "person of high interest." I wonder what more can be done to crack this case open. The community has suffered long enough without answers or justice. Maybe someone out there knows something that can finally bring clarity to what actually happened that day.

Has anyone else been following the details about the unsolved murder of Deborah Scriven and Leona Johnson? I came across something about the persistent efforts of Team Cold Case and the Rocky Mount PD. It's incredible to see how dedicated they are, especially after all these years. I feel for the Scriven family; they’ve been through so much, particularly with Devin having survived the attack.
